I try to post reviews based off each individual experience and then update them as needed. Myself and a group of 8-15 people come here regularly, and by that I mean usually once every week or two at the minimum. When we come, we all order drinks and food and it's usually great business for Sherlock's.
In the past, we have come here and had a great time. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get to this review until recently and had it in my drafts. That being said, I just came here and received the worst service I have ever received and had to write this review. I really hope next time will make up for this experience so I can change it to identify this place as the decent place it usually is. But until then, this review highlights the importance of quality service above all.
We arrived with a group of 9 people and were expecting to get some food and some drinks and have a good time since we haven't spent time together as a group in a long while. From the moment our server, Jessica, approached us, the service was horrendous. No smile, no friendly greeting, straight to the point asking what we want. Now I get if you're having a bad day, but in every job, you leave your crap at the door when you come to work. If it's really affecting you that badly, go home. Take a day. Don't spread it to other people. As we began to order she was visibly impatient and almost rushing us along. When she got to halfway through our table, she literally just walked away from us.
She comes back later with our drinks and we put in a food order and she approaches the other side of the table again. Some order and then they didn't have one of the girls order in stock and so she said "give me a second" and Jessica walked off again! She didn't come back for another 15 minutes and we had to share our drinks since not all of us had it. Meanwhile, our appetizer took 30 minutes when there were only maybe 10-15 other people in the entire building. Don't understand.
Later on when we tried to order more drinks when she finally came around, she was acting with attitude and when we explained that she never took our friends order, she said "well I waited and nobody said anything".
Finally, we were all dehydrated and asked for waters (which we should've gotten from the very moment we sat down by the way), and 40 minutes later still no water. At one point I saw her flirting and getting a back massage from one of the clients at the bar. Absolutely the most unprofessional and inappropriate behavior I've ever seen.
I got so fed up and I got a water from the bar in under 10 seconds and all of us shared that glass as well.
She came with our bills and she said "oh sorry we were out of cups for water and I was waiting for them to be cleaned". Why even lie? The bartender told me they had plenty of cups...
Finally, we all paid and left and as you can imagine, with no tip, at which point she was storming off in a fury once she saw the lack of tips. TIPS are OPTIONAL for EXCEPTIONAL service. I even understand it's almost customary and rude not to tip. But if she can be rude to her clientele, I think it's only just. She must have been even more oblivious to everything than I thought if she genuinely thought she deserved anything more than minimum wage.
Eventually one of us explained this experience to the manager and we assumed it would at least be handled in some manner. In my opinion, that was absolute grounds for firing or at least unpaid time off.
I was contemplating writing this review until I noticed a few days later she was serving there again, mostly with the same lack of skills that any waitress worth her salt should have. Thus, this review was very well earned by Jessica.
Piece of advice. This establishment is still really good for what they provide but if you go, do not expect management to take care of staff who act completely inappropriately and for God's sake, ask for someone else if you get cursed by having Jessica.
Absolute disgrace. -

I wish I could give more than 2 stars but our waitress was not a good hostess. We asked for waters for the table and our waitress said they didn't have any glasses because they were all being washed. I'm sorry what? This is a pub where drinks is the main reason why people come...am I wrong? Also it was a Saturday night, so how can you be all out of glasses when this is probably one of your busier nights? We ended up having to go to the bar and asking for water and within seconds received water. From the moment we were seated, our waitress was not attentive or helpful. When we were ordering our drinks, she would only get half our tables orders and then walk away. It got to the point to where we had to go look for her to tell her that we wanted to order more drinks. At one point, we saw our waitress receiving a back massage by someone at the bar...another time we saw our waitress sitting at the bar talking to people. I am all up for taking breaks/enjoying down time - but probably not the best idea when you have customers trying to find you to get some orders in place.
Honestly, I'm surprised at this service. I've been here before and have had fantastic service. Perhaps this was just a fluke, but no excuses, this is not okay. I'm leaving 2 stars instead of 1 because I know this place is better than this, but this waitress...
If management would like to know the name of this waitress, please message me. I will not put the waitress on blast in my review because that's childish, but I really hope this issue will be taken seriously. -

Ordered from lunch menu for two and ordered onion rings with sandwiches...Was charged combo price($13.40 for a burger and $10 for three sliders) ...dinner price for lunch courses and two drinks for $6.50 each no matter what we ordered. When asked the waitress for a clarification we got a rude reply that if you order onion rings without the drink...It will be charged full price...food was not cooked to perfection..drinks were ok. I also noticed that servers treated customers who did not look like them without a lot of respect.
Would never go back -

At first, my heart was set on Kenny's Italian Kitchen next door, but after I was told the wait was at least an hour, I told the lady see you another time. For Monday, the place was packed!! I really wanted something quick to eat, so I decided to go check out the next door. It's British/Irish Pub(?), so they have lots of bar food like Nachos, loaded fries and warm pretzels etc and many diff types of lagers and cocktails. Too bad I don't drink or I would love to have some fruity cocktails!
I decided on Fish and Chips. It was very good and the service was decent and the waitress was friendly enough. I would definite try this place again. The guy who was checking the ID up front said that Tacos were excellent as well, so maybe I will try them next time.
